Currently, wheelchair visitors are offered the Cruise & Guide programmes, where the lower deck of the Gondola boat can be accessed with a wheelchair. It is a large spacious sightseeing panorama bubble boat with modern amenities. However, this boat is only chartered at particular hours on a given day therefore we kindly ask you to leave a comment upon the booking that you arrive with a wheelchair.
The Cruise & Guide programs are accessible however the restrooms are not always on the same level (depending on the boat they might be not accessible).
Please see the dock of the Cruise and Guide programs below:
Dinner Cruises
Most of the Budapest Dinner Cruise programs are held on partially accessible boats on the Danube.
This means that there are stairs at the dock and the cruise crew can help guests with wheelchairs to board the cruise. Please see the picture below:

Hello,
Is it possible to get some information on wheelchair accessible dinner cruises please? We are coming to Budapest in March and would love to take my dad on the river in his wheelchair. He cannot use stairs at all.
Thanks,
Lauren

Hello,
We are coming to visit Budapest next week (3rd January-5th January 2024.) and were wondering which day boat rides you would recommend that are wheelchair accessible? We are a group of 6, including one child and one 19 year old in a wheelchair.
Dear Matija,
Thank you for contacting us.
We have sent you an email with more details.
Have a wonderful winter holiday in Budapest!
