Covid - negative PCR tests will be accepted and checked before boarding Payment - prepayment is needed, all seats are expected to be booked up, the cruises are on full house on Dec 31, normally no tickets left at the door by the day.

  Thank you for all your information answering my questions. Yes, I presume that we are looking at at the Party and Show cruise. I really would like the evening to be a fantastic reflection of Hungarian hospitality and quality. My sister and I are Hungarian (had Hungarian parents but born in Australia) and my sisters children are coming to Hungary for the first time. I really want them to have a great time ands experience - which I am sure will be the case. How many people sit at the tables? are they round? can we chose a boat that we can go outside to look at the views? I looked at the booking programme and noticed that I could only make a dinner selection for the Beef selection for 4 people. We are a group of 9 who all chose the beef. How do I make sure that we all sit together? thank you, Ibolya

    Dear Ibolya, Seating is at round, shared tables of usually 8-10 persons (you can see some photos here: https://budapestrivercruise.com/budapest-new-years-eve-cruise-party) Regarding the meal choice: it's not a problem if you cannot choose the meal for all your guests in the booking form, it is also perfect if you let us know the selected menus via email after making the booking. Of course, your group will be seated to one table regardless of your meal choices.

  Good day, My party of 9 is from Australia and wish to book a NYE cruise. We have looked at the one with 5 course meal; midnight supper and drinks included for 179E. I would like to find out whether the NYE fireworks can be viewed clearly from the boAt? also can we stand outside to see the views of the riverbanks before dinner or after? We will be staying on Ráköczi ut. Will we be able to get a bus shuttle from the cruise to our apartment? I am concerned about the earlier comment about the size of the boat, overcrowding of seating; not being able to see out of the boat. Have these matters been dealt with? 0ur party is tall (170-190cm) and big sporty build and being squashed would not be ideal. I look forward to your advices. Thank you. Ibolya

Fireworks: Please note that there will be no official fireworks show in Budapest on New Year's Eve, but traditionally there are some fireworks throughout the city. Most probably some of them will be visible from the NYE boats too, but we cannot guarantee the fireworks show (the city officially does not organize them). That said, most privately organized fireworks displays are close to the river Danube, so they will be easily seen from the boats. But the Fireworks Shows are more modest than the spectacular, national Aug 20 Fireworks. Thank you for your understanding. Outside area: This depends on the actual NYE program you choose, as they are held in different boats. But most of the boats have some outside area (though usually not big enough to allow everyone being there at the same time). Transfer to hotel: The NYE Party & Show Cruise (https://budapestrivercruise.com/budapest-new-years-eve-cruise-party) includes bus transfer from the dock back to your accommodation after the cruise. The buses run every hour on a schedule from 1am. If you choose another NYE cruise, the hostesses on board will be happy to arrange you a reliable taxi. Size of the boat: There are several ships running on New Year's Eve, but in all cases the regulations are strictly kept regarding the maximum number of guests on board, avoiding overcrowding. Nevertheless please note that all NYE cruises will run of full house, as they are extremely popular programs (usually booked up a few days or even weeks in advance).   Hi, I am very very disappointed of the NYE 2017 dinner cruise with the folk orchestra. We were a group of 7 people and the reservation was made by one of them far in advance. The ship was very small, the number of people was higher that it should be, the air conditioning was not working properly and the windows were wet (condense), so nothing can be seen outside (in fact we booked this trip for the night sightseeing). The food was absolutely average. After 12 o'clock they said that the DJ will not be available on our ship and requested us to move to another ship taking our glasses with drinks (ha-ha). And all this for 165 euro per person. Something more - they said that if we pay cash we will have 5 euro discount, but it was not the case. I would not recommend this trip to anybody. It was not corresponding to the occasion. It was in fact worse than an average dinner, because the boat (it is definitely not a ship) was crowded and the food was bad. To be honest - only the orchestra was O.K.

Our partner will get back to you asap regarding the results of their investigation, but let us please inform you about a couple of important details: Various Boats The NYE Danube River Cruise program is a very popular program, a large number of visitors were all looking forward to celebrating the night on board. The musicians are the award winning Rajko Band members, and we have been working with their highly skilled Gypsy musicians for almost a decade now, therefore the demand for this NYE cruise has been very high in the last years with tickets selling out before 31 December. Due to the high number of guests, separate boats (from small ones to the biggest one, the Europe Conference Boat) were launched with the aim of avoiding any overcrowding, congestion and inconvenience of guests. You and your group were seated on a smaller ship, we are very sorry if you could not enjoy the lovely panorama from your seats, we have never had any similar complaint so far. Quality of the Meals We are terribly sorry to hear that the meals on the NYE cruise, which most guests definitely liked and appreciated, did not meet your expectations. Should you have let the hostesses know about your opinion regarding the chosen menu, you would have been given the opportunity to change the menu. Unfortunately, the staff and the hostesses were not received any feedback on board from you regarding such request. Moving to another boat The NYE Party Cruise takes place on several boats of various sizes, including one large boat. Indeed, there were separate, more spacious boats assigned to the party after the dinner, where dancing took place with live DJ music. All guests were informed and had the chance to move to the other boat if they wished to stay and dance from about midnight. This offered a higher quality after dinner option for all guests wishing to celebrate the New Year with dancing, and it was, as we hear, a very welcoming solution for guests. 5 EUR Discount Our partner informed us that all guests received the 5 EUR discount if they paid the remaining fee in cash. Our partner had a detailed list regarding the pre-payments and the amounts needed to be paid on the spot. Once again, we are truly sorry that your planned evening didn’t end as you had expected, but we hope that you will have a much better experience in Budapest next time.

    Dear Karim, there will be 4 evening cruises in Budapest on the night of Dec 31. 3 of them are perfectly suitable for a 13 year old teenager. The only exception is perhaps the Budapest New Year's Eve Party cruise, as the party is better suited for visitors aged minimum 18 years old. The a la carte dinner cruise is basically the shortest program of 2.5 hours, and it is literally a dinner cruise with live music, ending early in the evening, which means that you can arrange a later program after the cruise. The NYE Dinner cruise with Bar Piano battle and Frank Sinatra show is a full evening NYE program, with lots of music, served dinner, but not heavily partying. So this is a perfect family choice for families with older children. The New Year's Eve cruise and show features many artists who perform all evening, and self served buffet dinner.
