Budapest Folk Night with Dinner on the Danube
The Hungarian Folk Dance Performance includes the traditional dances and dance motifs of various regions of historic Hungary like Kalocsa town or Szatmar county, including spectacular Bottle Dances (women balancing bottles on their heads while dancing), Stick Dances (men acting out shepherd with their herding sticks, making tricky dance moves). 4 dancers will present the Hungarian dances in a lively and enjoyable way, also showing various costumes of highlighted folk regions (different colours, patterns and embroidery).
Learning a Bit of Folk Dance?
The Hungarian Folk Dance is followed by an interactive and fun workshop where you will get an opportunity to learn a bit of Hungarian Folk Dances. But only if you really want to, there is no pressure (but it is fun!). You can even get a photo of yourself / yourselves with the dancers, and more.
The folk dancers are the members of the traditional folk ensemble called Folkrhythms, who gained show experience in the former, nationally and internationally acclaimed Rajko Folk Ensemble. The folk dance ensemble on the river cruise is 4 dancers, plus there is a quartet playing the folk dance music for the group.

Our booking system shows the status ‘unpaid’ as the system is designed in the following way:
first, going through the booking preferences
second, going through the payment for the Danube cruise of your choice
The thank you message is automatically set after the payment page (which appears whether the payment has or has not gone through).
Kindly check your account and your email inbox and spam folder too: if there is no payment notification to show a success for the payment itself, the confirmation will not be sent (it will just show up in our system as an ‘unpaid’ booking attempt).
We suggest trying it again without using the back page option (without navigating away from the payment page).

Yes, the live folk show takes place in the covered area of the ship, and the dinner is served there too.
However, there is a small open deck at the back of the ship for smoking.
The accident has no effect on the cruise schedule whatsoever, all cruises are running as usual.

There will only be special festive cruises on 25 December, the Folk Dinner Cruise will not run on 25 December. The Christmas Day dinner cruises are either a la carte, served dinner, or buffet style (the dishes are self served and inclusive in buffet dinners). On all dinner cruises, you can choose from several kinds of meals (meat dishes, vegetarian options, soups, salads, desserts).
