The 12pm Budapest Cruise runs every day from 12pm to 1.30pm between Apr 1 and Oct 28.
Taxi Transfer
You can upgrade your existing cruise booking with a return Taxi Transfer for the price of €14 per person. Taxi Transfer can be added min. 2 hours before the cruise starts.
Hotel pick up: 30-40 minutes before the cruise starts at the reception of your hotel.

On the Buda side, you can marvel at the green and steep Gellert Hill, the modest Art Nouveau facade of the Gellert Baths (which is all the more opulent with Art Nouveau decor from within), you may even spot the Cave Church at the foot of the hill. Of course, it would be hard to miss the Citadel, the 19th century fortification built by the Austrians to keep a hawk eye on the rebellious Hungarians who thought that the Austro-Hungarian Empire would be better without the Austrians… Next to the Citadel, the female figure holding a leaf is the communist Hungary’s answer to the New York Statue of Liberty – the model was a Hungarian working woman.
On the exciting Castle Hill, you will see the Buda Castle Royal Palace, which has shed its baroque exterior during, and unfortunately, after the WW2 (baroque richness was looked down on by the communists). The beautiful neo-Gothic Matthias Church with its colourful tiles stands out from the crowd of churches in Budapest, while the white turrets of the Fisherman’s Bastion may seem like a Walt Disney castle (of course built many decades before the cartoons).
These amazing sights in Budapest are all part of the UNESCO World heritage as a sweeping view: Budapest, including the banks of the Danube and the Buda Castle Quarter. By the way, there are 8 UNESCO world heritage sites in Hungary, all over the country, so you will definitely see one of them during this fascinating Budapest river cruise.

On the Pest side you will see the majestic Hungarian Parliament building, the Art Nouveau facade of the Gresham Palace (Four Seasons Hotel Budapest) and behind them, one of the tallest buildings on the flat Pest side, the huge domes of the St Stephen’s Basilica.
Needless to say, we will cruise under the beautiful bridges over the river Danube: the Margaret Bridge, the Chain Bridge by the Tunnel, the more modern Elisabeth Bridge (white metal, built in the 1960s as the old beautiful bridge was blown up in WW2), the Liberty Bridge (green metal, historical), the simply designed Petofi Bridge and the modern and cool Rakoczi Bridge.
