Treat yourself with a nice dinner on the Danube on the Legenda Boat in Budapest with candles, a la carte dinner, served tables, and majestic views of the bright city at night.
The wait staff was great and the food was very well cooked. Nice music entertainment. Two and a half hours of the best experience on the Danube and the city lights of Budapest`s waterfront and Chain Bridge.- Tourist on Legenda Boat
I choose this dinner cruise based on the good impression that I got from the positive reviews here. I was surely not disappointed and my opinion is that Legenda deserves the money they are asking for it. I have experienced the same kind of program in Paris and my opinion is that this one is much better! The boat is very comfortable and replicates a modern and stylish dinning room, with a bar counter in the rear end. Glass roof and windows allow you to have ravishing views of Budapest.
Of course the food is not “gourmet style” but, considering the circumstances, I must say that it was fine! Everything is cooked aboard, you are nicely served at your place (no buffet stuff…) and the wine list is varied enough and not too much overpriced.- Tourist Review, Portugal
Selected the dinner trip, 2.5 hours with good quality food (best we had in Budapest) and no commentary (live music, but no dancing instead). Good company to book with. It beats my experience of a Seine Dinner Cruise hands down. If you have the money (£40/head with wine, 4 course dinner and cruise) do this.- Tourist from UK
On the last night of our holiday we booked a candlelit dinner cruise on the Danube. We chose the exclusive package about £46 per person to include a welcome drink, four course a la carte meal, this was better value than the cruise and a la carte meal (pay as you go ) about £23 per person. For our main course we choise fillet of beef and duck breast both cooked to perfection.- Tourist Review, UK
The dinner cruise offered by “LEGENDA” is just perfect, they are very accurate with the time it is really 2 and half hours of trip and it started o´clock. I liked that they have individual tables for couples, so you don´t have to share or disturbing someone for stand up and take a picture. they have candles or flowers on the tables making it a romantic trip. It is elegant and beautiful. they have an adjustable roof, so you don´t have to worry about the weather. the live band music sing in different languages- Couple's Review of Dinner Cruise
This is THE way to see the City. Great unique boat allowing you to get a panoramic view of the city. The dinner (we did the a la cart) was great, reasonably priced wine selection, and very pleasant service. Yes, it costs more than the others, but is in a class on it’s own. Our visiting friends just loved it.- Local from Budapest
My wife and I had only one night in Budapest so we decided to make the most of it and splurge for the Legenda Dinner Cruise. It was definitely not cheap (around 31000 HUF, or nearly $150 USD), but was worth it for what is most likely a once-in-a-lifetime trip for us… There is a selection of food that is suitable for nearly every palate. I had a scallop as the first course, followed by pumpkin cream soup, roasted pork tenderloin and panna cotta for dessert. My wife had a shrimp starter, pumpkin soup, duck breast and sponge pudding. Everything we ordered was outstanding, and the servers are simply amazing and work very hard to keep up with the demands of such a large group.- Tourist Review, US
Took the Candlenight Dinner Cruise on the Danube River. Went for the Exclusive meal option which got you 4 course meal and a drink while circling around the river for 2 1/2 hours. Walked around the the top deck and got some great photos of the bridges and historical buildings. food was great. cold citrus soup, incredible, steak done to your liking, dessert ( brownie thing was TDF! ). The waitress and I had a slight misunderstanding but she quickly resolved the issue with great tact and we left as extremely satisfied customers. Rember to tip your servers because it is not included in the price of your ticket. (And it appeared everybody got top service like we did). Last words, definitely worth it!- Tourist Review, Canada
Dinner Cruise for Groups in Budapest
We had a group of about 30 people and had the candlelit dinner cruise. First, its perfect for a group because we could easily organize the payment, there was a nice variety of menu items, and the tables were for 8 people each. Second, the food was much better than I expected from a dinner cruise. The all inclusive price includes a starter, soup, entree and desert. My starter, the cold goose liver, was excellent. The pumpkin soup was even better. Then, to my pleasant surprise, the duck breast was delicious – perfectly cooked with none of the fattiness you get sometimes with duck. The red wine & sour cherry sauce was a delight. The meal comes with a glass of house wine, which was very good for a house wine.- Tourist, US
