Getting there
Check the Blue Ship sign on the map. This is where the Dock is for the cruise.
STREETCAR
Streetcar number 2 goes along the river Danube, stopping at all the bridges and at major sights (Parliament, Chain Bridge, Vorosmarty Square, Great Market Hall, etc.) You can take a 3-5 min walk from Vigado Square where streetcar 2 stops, and then walk towards Erzsebet Bridge (Elisabeth Bridge).
Right before the bridge, on March 15 Square, please spot the statue of Hungarian poet Sandor Petofi. By drawing a line from the statue to the Danube, you will see the pier of the Opera Cruise Ship.
METRO
Ferenciek Square
from Ferenciek tere M3 metro station, you can take a 5 min walk towards the white Erzsebet Bridge, but instead of walking up the bridge, please descend to Marcius 15 Square by the Inner City Church (Belvarosi Plebaniatemplom). On March 15 Square, please locate the statue of Hungarian poet Sandor Petofi. By looking at the river Danube, you will see the pier of the Opera Cruise Ship.
Vorosmarty Square
from Vorosmarty ter M1 millennial metro station, you can take a 5 min walk towards the white Erzsebet Bridge, but instead of walking up the bridge, please head to Marcius 15 Square by the Inner City Church (Belvarosi Plebaniatemplom). Deak Square
from Deak Square metro station (M1, M2, M3 metro lines): you can take a short, 10 min walk from Deak Sq to Marcius 15 Ter: the route is Suto Street, Barczy Istvan Street, Szervita Square, Petofi Street, Parizsi Street, Marcius 15 Square
