The cruise operates in most weather conditions throughout the year. The Danube is a wide and deep river, ensuring smooth navigation and pleasant sightseeing in all seasons. Guests are welcome to relax on board and enjoy refreshments available at the ship bar, where a selection of drinks can be purchased during the cruise. Schedule of Budapest Central Sightseeing Cruise
This sightseeing cruise on Bakony boat is bookable every day at the following times:
- 8 pm Evening Sightseeing – before sunset/ sunset (spring/ summer), after sunset (winter)
- 9 pm Evening Cruise Sightseeing – after sunset (autumn – spring), summer sunset
- 10 pm Night Cruise Sightseeing – after sunset
Dock
The dock location is in the city centre of Budapest by the iconic Chain Bridge:
Academy Dock 2 ” Akadémia 2.” pier
The default pier is near the Chain Bridge on the busy Pest side of the city, 5 minute walk from the city centre. It can be easily approached by Tram 2 or various buses. Taxi and bus drop off is by the Chain Bridge car park, Pest side.
If you book your seats online, please print out your online tickets as proof of payment (confirmation email is only sent after payment). Cruise guests are kindly asked to arrive 15 – 20 min before the cruise departs. Boarding details will be available in your confirmation email.
