All guests must follow these rules responsibly from boarding until disembarkation. Please remember that a ship is a controlled environment where accidents can occur if safety instructions are not followed. Crew instructions are mandatory and a condition of being on board. Serious or repeated violations may lead to removal from the ship, financial penalties, or responsibility for damages.
Onboard Conduct
- Always follow the instructions of the captain and crew.
- Smoking or any open flame is only allowed in clearly marked outdoor areas. Smoking is forbidden inside all enclosed spaces, including toilets.
- Jumping or attempting to jump into the river, leaning dangerously over the side, or encouraging such behaviour is strictly prohibited. These actions may lead to immediate removal, police involvement, and fines of up to EUR 3,000.
Guest Responsibility
- Guests are responsible for their own actions and for any damage, contamination, or unsafe behaviour they cause.
- Disrupting other guests or interfering with the crew’s work is not permitted.
- The organisers and boat operators may remove anyone who does not follow the rules. Refunds will not be given in such cases.
Medical and Emergency Situations
- If a guest becomes seriously ill or injured, the ship will stop at the nearest suitable docking point so they can receive appropriate medical attention.
- Guests with existing medical conditions should bring any required medication and inform the organiser in advance if they may need help.
- For safety reasons, the organiser, crew, and catering staff are not allowed to give, store, or administer medication of any kind—including non-prescription medicines.
Children and Alcohol
- Children under 14 must stay with a responsible adult at all times.
- Alcohol will not be served to anyone under 18. Identification may be requested.
